There is still time to register for the Boulder-Bergamo Forum on Access to Financial Services: Expanding the Rural Frontier that will be held from September 18th-20th at the University of Bergamo in Italy. This forum will bring together lead researchers and top level policymakers from around the world together with funders and practitioners to engage in active dialogue aimed at generating recommendations and ideas to help shape future research. The Forum is organized by Boulder Institute of Microfinance and University of Bergamo with support from The Rural Finance Program at The Ohio State University for this year's theme of expanding rural financial access.
The program is structured around 6 keynote dialogues led by the following researchers:
- Robert Townsend (U. of Chicago)
- Gershon Feder (World Bank)
- Dean Karlan (Yale)
- Jonathan Morduch (NYU)
- Jerry Skees (U. of Kentucky)
- Dale Adams (Ohio State U.)
In addition to these keynote speakers, the conference will include presentations and dialogue by over 40 distinguished policymakers, academics, practitioners, and funders from around the world whose voices will represent different academic and applied viewpoints.
